The New England Quilt Museum will be offering two events:
11 AM – Noon: Decorate a Polar Fleece Scarf
Students will have the opportunity to hand sew as they decorate a polar fleece scarf with snowflake appliques. To celebrate the New England Quilt Museum’s 25th Anniversary, there will be lots of silver threads, sparkles and sequins to use as embellishments, too!
Scarves, embellishments and supplies provided.Space is limited to 15 students age 8 - 12.To register for this program, please call 978-452-4207, ext 17 after January 20, 2012. Kindly leave your name, telephone number and the number of children attending the program.

Students will have the opportunity to create iron-on snowflakes to decorate their sweatshirts.To celebrate the New England Quilt Museum’s 25th Anniversary, there will be lots of silver sparkles and sequins to use as embellishments, too!!
Fabric, embellishments and supplies provided.Space is limited to15 students age 8 - 12.To register for this program, please call 978-452-4207, ext.17 after January 20, 2012. Kindly leave your name, telephone number and the number of children attending the program.

Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway Street, Lowell, Massachusetts
The New England Quilt Museum is pleased to co-sponsor this event with the Lowell Senior Center’s Quilters.
1 – 3 PM: Make and Take a Fabric Bookmark
Students will have the opportunity to create a fabric book and decorate it with iron-on embellishments.
The Lowell Senior Center Quilters will also demonstrate hand sewing and teach the children how to sew a four-patch quilt block.
This is a drop-in craft activity for students aged 7 - 12. Fabric and supplies provided.
