The 2012 Lowell Quilt Festival is a citywide celebration of quilts, featuring lectures, exhibits, vendors, teas and special events all over town, with a free shuttle bus to get you to all the fun! 

This year's very special guest is Marianne Fons, founder (with Liz Porter) of the Fons & Porter Love of Quilting magazine and television program. (Visit their website at fonsandporter.com.) Also appearing with Marianne is her daughter Mary Fons, current co-host of the Love of Quilting TV show and founder of the Hey Quilty website for rising stars of the quilt world and new quilting afficionados. 

The festival also features IMAGES, New England's premier judged and juried quilt show.
