A Quilting Destination

The New England Quilt  Museum offers tours for all ages. The only museum of its kind in the region, the museum is dedicated to all things quilting with:

- dynamic exhibitions that showcase our nation’s rich quilt heritage as well as the best contemporary quilts;

- docent-led tours offering a deeper look at quilt history and coming trends in fiber arts;

- workshops and classes to teach basic and advanced quilt techniques and new art quilt styles;

-  a bright and airy workshop space for quilt groups, who will be inspired by the wonderful rotating quilt exhibits on our gallery walls.

Group Tours/Workshop Space

Conveniently located in lovely downtown Lowell, Massachusetts, the New England Quilt Museum is situated in the heart of our nation's historic textile producing region.
This is the perfect starting point for a tour of nearby textile history sites, museums and galleries. Make a day of it — or a weekend!

You'll find dining options ranging from deli fare to international cuisine, are all within one block (or less) of the museum. About 45 minutes from Boston, the Museum is an ideal side trip for any visit to New England.

Tours for groups of 10 or more or workshop space rental can be arranged with advance reservations. You can choose between tours that are self-guided with an introduction and orientation by a museum staff member or opt for one that's personally guided by the museum's curator.

For pricing and reservations, contact Group Tours Coordinator Cheryl Dennis. Email Office@nequiltmuseum.org or call 978-452-4207 ext. 18.
